Non-Local
Use of the kitchen for light refreshments (tea/coffee, etc) is included in the charges shown but full use of the kitchen (including cooker and function crockery/cutlery) costs an extra £17. For some events a 'partial' charge may be applicable, depending on requirements. An Alcohol Licence, if required, will cost £23. The Bookings Secretary must be notified at the outset should the sale of alcohol be proposed, as specific permission and authority is necessary for which there is an additional charge of £23. The Hire Charges rates are subject to periodic review. Additional charges may be made for breakages and losses, and if the premises are not left clean and tidy. For conditions of hire and compliance with conditions click here. For all enquiries about bookings, hire conditions and rates, please contact the Bookings Secretary: Tel.No: (01788) 522444 Email: bookings@dunchurchsportsandvhall.co.uk A booking request may be provisionally accepted by telephone or email. Subsequently a ‘Hire Agreement’ form (containing the requested details) will be issued for signing and return (as directed on form) to the Bookings Secretary by the Hirer. For ‘Parties’
(eg. Discos, Birthdays, Anniversaries and Wedding Receptions) and ‘Commercial’
bookings, full payment (or a significant deposit) may be required with
the return of the ‘Hire Agreement’ form. Further, an additional
premium may be levied to cover the unlikely eventuality of additional
charges being incurred, ie. for breakages and losses, or if the premises
are not left clean and tidy. In the case of a change of a booking to another
date usually there will be no extra charge. Bookings for rehearsals preceding performance events will attract a 25% reduction. The Hall has a Premises Licence (which incorporates regulated entertainment, eg. music, dancing and theatre, and licensed authority for the sale of alcohol) and a Performing Right Society Ltd Licence (for musical performances). The Bookings Secretary must be notified at the outset about such proposed events. This is especially so should the sale of alcohol be requested as specific permission and authority is necessary for which there is an additional charge of £23 Note: It
is against the law to smoke inside the premises. |
